Lauren is a warm and gentle practitioner. Her love for Chinese medicine and acupuncture began from her own health journey to investigate and identify additional solutions for chronic conditions in conjunction with Western Medicine.
Lauren has a particular interest in treating complex health conditions such as chronic pain and gynaecological issues including endometriosis and PCOS. She also has experience treating chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, headaches/migraines and recurrent infections. She is passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent folk.
Lauren’s is one of the Directors of The Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic and has a wealth of experience helping people conceive. She has been practicing for nearly 10 years and believes in an integrative approach, often working with other allied health professionals or specialists to achieve the best possible outcome for patients.
A consultation with Lauren will include a detailed health evaluation including review of any relevant blood test results. Treatment options include acupuncture, cupping, gua sha , herbal medicine and basic supplementation.
Lauren completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine) degree at the Southern School of Natural Therapies and also holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting).
Lauren is a registered Chinese medicine practitioner and a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). Consultations with Lauren Gannon are covered by all major private health funds.
Outside of clinic you’ll find Lauren, taking long walks, spending time with family, cooking and discussing environmental and world issues.
