Treatment may consist of a variety of techniques including:
- Cupping therapy
- Chinese herbal medicine
- Heat therapy, such as moxibustion & TDP heat lamp
Michael has been working as a massage since therapist in 2002 and was introduced to holistic medicine from a young age. He likes to combine elements from Shiatsu, Thai massage, Sports massage, and Tuina (Chinese massage) to provide a firm and supportive treatment.
Each style of massage brings with it unique aspect such as stretching, the use of acupressure points, muscle motor points or calming techniques for when someone someone needs more of a relaxing treatment. Each body is unique and requires different treatments.
The treatments often incorporate different applications of heat through infrared heat lamps, to cupping and liniments to encourage recovery and relaxation.
