Michael is a warm and friendly practitioner who is dedicated to finding ways to improve the health of his patients. He enjoys seeing the impact that Chinese medicine has on people’s lives. This often has a flow-on effect that inspires others to make changes to improve their own health and happiness.
He grew up in a family that emphasised the importance of eating and enjoying healthy food. As a Chinese medicine practitioner, Michael has carried this through his practice by focusing on strengthening digestion when there is an illness in the body.
Before becoming a registered acupuncturist and herbalist Michael worked as a Massage therapist from 2002. His studies include the theories of Master Tung acupuncture and classical herbal medicine, which continue to inspire his practice.
Michael has gained a particular interest in treating Digestive Health, Emotional Health, Musculoskeletal Conditions, and Fertility. His treatments include the use of Acupuncture, Bodywork, Chinese Cupping, Gua Sha, Heat Therapy and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
When Michael isn’t in the clinic he enjoys getting out of the city for hiking adventures, playing music, and creating tasty meals in the kitchen.
Michael is registered with AHPRA and ANTA.
